Someone later accessed same prepaid account and paid anonymous deliveries.

Rachel photographed receipt for Jonathan and texted it.
Jonathan’s phone had been compromised.
So Rachel wasn’t mastermind.
Jonathan’s phone provided breakthrough.

Not Charles.
Fake.

Someone targeting anyone who opened old file.
Cybersecurity traced command infrastructure to commercial anonymity service.
No immediate identity.
But document-access logs showed first person to download 2017 settlement after Charles death:

Jonathan.

Claire.
Claire stared.
“I never downloaded it.”

Three months before pregnancy.
From Claire’s foundation account.
At 2:13 a.m.
She was asleep beside Ethan.

Melissa resigned shortly afterward.
Where now?

Finally a concrete connection.
Melissa was interviewed.

She assumed corporate intelligence.

Catherine inherited father’s investigative firm after his death.
Why attack Bennett family?
Martin Shaw had been blamed privately when Charles’s genetic investigation leaked.

Catherine inherited grievance.
But motive alone not enough.

Then Catherine said:

Ethan frowned.
