Forensic review showed David’s electronic signature was copied.
Who prepared document?
Stephen Ward.
He denied knowing signature copied.
Draft originated from Robert Hale’s office.
Robert admitted ordering amendment.
Why?
He wanted new co-trustee independent of old board to certify records.
He selected Claire because she was attorney by training? In story Claire maybe not. Better she had compliance background before marriage. Establish now: Claire previously worked in nonprofit compliance.
He assumed David would agree.
Instead of asking, staff used signature template.
Serious misconduct.
Why hide from Claire?
Robert claimed he intended disclose after wedding.

Did this make Robert mastermind behind Margaret concealment?

But it showed same institutional culture.
Then Ellen file revealed Robert and Stephen had fought.

Then one final central question remained.
Where had Margaret actually been for eleven months?

But why could she not simply return once wrong-body error uncovered?
Because Anna’s memory card contained one final allegation that Margaret had not verified.
