Claire gave full timeline.
Eleven months earlier:
anonymous package from Robert contained K-1.
She opened.
Learned Julia secretly arranged second embryo transfer.
She confronted Robert.
He admitted knowing late.
Claire searched Rebecca.
Seven months ago:
found Rebecca.
Rebecca refused reveal Mia location until Claire promised not contact Ethan immediately.
Claire agreed.
Four months ago:
Claire met Mia with Susan.
She cried seeing Ethan’s face in child.
She wanted tell Ethan that night.
Rebecca stopped.
Why?
Nora not found.
Claire didn't know Nora confirmed.
Rebecca said:
“There may be another file.”
Claire demanded.
Rebecca denied K-3 existed.
Claire believed maybe paperwork error.
Two months ago:
Robert pressed Claire tell Ethan.

Then hallway child asked:
“Daddy... which one is Lily?”

Mia saw three similar girls and genuinely became confused about which child was Lily.

Then Claire:
“You were only supposed to find one.”
Meaning Mia.
Claire expected one unknown sister.
Nora’s presence proved Rebecca had concealed more.
Then Nora raised K-3.
Rebecca gave key moments before entering.
Wrong to burden child.
Then Ethan asked Claire:
“If Rebecca hadn't arrived, would you truly have told me?”
Claire paused too long.
“I think so.”
Not satisfying.
“That's not yes.”
“No.”
Truth.
She might have delayed again.
Then Ethan said:
“That’s why she forced it.”
“Yes.”
“Does that excuse her?”
“No.”
“Does it excuse you?”
“No.”
Good.
Then Claire asked whether she would ever see Lily.
Ethan said not his unilateral decision; professionals and safety plan first.
She nodded.
Then legal outcomes.
Claire faced charges from current assault? Fictional: prosecutor reviewed kitchen conduct; Ethan gave footage/testimony; no cover-up. Keep general.
Historical Bellweather matter referred to regulators/prosecutors.
Keene surrendered remaining professional credentials? Already retired. Cooperation.
Successor clinic funded independent review.
Rebecca sought legal counsel and cooperated regarding document processing.
No one became heroic whistleblower without consequences.
Then Julia's role was documented with compassion but honesty.
She loved Ethan.
She made serious reproductive decision without consent.
Cancer fear explained, not excused.
Then Elizabeth's role:
agreed to carry Mia knowing Ethan didn't know.
She apologized.
She had raised Mia lovingly before Rebecca/Susan temporary guardianship. Need why she handed Mia to Rebecca? Let's clean.
Elizabeth had temporary guardianship issues due Bellweather threats. She voluntarily placed Mia with Susan while legal questions resolved, remained in contact. So Mia knew her as Mom Liz.
Then Melissa:
unwitting carrier, later concealed contact from fear after learning.

Then Robert:
knew partial truth, mailed K-1 to Claire instead of son.
Apologized.
Then Ethan:
only adult in central origin story who truly had not known.

Then he asked Dana:
“Is there anything else?”
Dana said:
“About the girls? We think we finally have complete chain.”

Then she placed three birth records.
Lily Carter.
Mia Ward.
Nora Grant.
Three different surnames.
Three separate lives.
One genetic family.
