Emma walked through the grand marble lobby wearing a sharp black suit, her long chestnut hair pulled back into an elegant, professional style. At the head of the long glass table sat Damon Vance, wearing a tailored navy suit and looking over a set of financial reports with the same arrogant posture he had displayed on her street the day before.
