D.H. was not Daniel Hale.
Bank records identified recipient:
David Harrow.
Former Hale Foundation accountant.
He died six years earlier.
Confirmed.
His widow retained records.
David Harrow had been paid $17,000 annually to administer confidential medical reimbursements for Patient Eighteen and several other claimants.
So payment itself was legitimate service compensation, poorly classified but not secret fortune.
Daniel was not recipient.
Another suspicion collapsed.
Then Harrow’s widow found Catherine correspondence.
Catherine contacted David Harrow after leaving Victor.
She asked whether Eleanor had secretly paid Dawson family.
Harrow confirmed.
He also showed her something larger:
Arthur had created supplemental medical reserve for all eighteen screened children after admitting original settlement inadequate.
Amount:
$6.4 million.
Restricted.
Not family slush fund.
Not inheritance.
Yet reserve balance by time Catherine investigated:

About $1.5 million had been transferred out.

To Hale Family Residential Trust.
Authorized by:
Arthur Hale.
Eleanor Hale.

Catherine Dawson Hale.
Victor stared.
Catherine’s signature.
Was it forged?
Forensic review suggested genuine.
Why would Catherine help move claimant funds?
