Helen Hart had lied in 1992.
Baby Girl Hart was not abandoned.
Her biological mother was seventeen-year-old Melissa Grant.

Melissa did not surrender baby.
She woke and was told daughter had developed respiratory complications and was transferred.
Then told baby died during transport.
No body shown.
Daniel and Melissa accepted cremation certificate.
Certificate false.
Baby went to Helen Hart.
Why?
Not trafficking for money.
M-17 file showed catastrophic donor error.

His sample had been marked RESEARCH/NOT FOR CLINICAL USE.
A lab technician mislabeled several vials.
At least six pregnancies resulted before discovery.

Sophie’s biological mother.
Rebecca was alive.

A message found in her apartment:
IF THEY GIVE YOU THE WRONG CHILD, DO NOT GO TO POLICE. FIND MARGARET BENNETT.
Margaret?
Why would Rebecca know Margaret?
Then Margaret remembered a letter received two months earlier.
She had thrown away as scam.
A woman wrote:
“My adoptive records say your sister Helen held me the night I was born. I need to know why.”
