Claire stared.
“I’ve seen that SUV.”
“Where?”
Outside Lily’s daycare twice.

Ethan had never noticed.

Emma turned toward Ethan.
“You said there wasn’t one.”
“I didn’t put that there.”

Someone had placed scandal’s key evidence inside Ethan’s house.
Claire whispered:
“They’re framing him.”
Maybe.
Or returning something.
