Helen did not see infant Claire.
Claire was five years old when Rachel born.
She saw a woman resembling adult Claire.
Claire’s mother, Susan Reynolds.
Susan had visited maternity ward that day.

Susan confirmed.

Claire became convinced Rachel had discovered something terrible about David.
Then anonymous sender told her:
THE DECLARATION PROVES ETHAN IS NOT HIS.
Claire accepted interpretation because she was already frightened.
Who manipulated her?
Courier Thomas Vale received package from account controlled by:
Marianne Cole Estate.
Marianne dead nine years.
Executor:
Susan Reynolds.
Claire’s mother.
Claire stared at Susan.
“You sent it?”
Susan whispered:
“No.”
Then estate records showed co-executor.
A name Claire had never heard:
Rebecca Cole.
Marianne’s younger sister.
Susan’s other half-sister.
