Chapter 14 - Which Lily Whispered?
By time case reached formal resolution, every element of fifteen-second nightmare could be reconstructed second by second.
At 5:12 p.m., real Lily Bennett was coloring in kitchen.
Natalie Shaw entered through back door using Daniel’s old spare key.
She brought Mia Carter.

Emma relaxed.

Emma looked toward hallway.
“That isn't our mystery.”
“No.”
“Then don't mix them.”
“I won't.”
Emma had learned what happened when adults forced separate mysteries into one.
