Chapter 9 - Who Knew the Name Sophie?
Emma had chosen Sophie at twenty weeks.
She and Daniel kept it private because they wanted surprise.
They told parents.
They told Dr. Melissa Ward.
And Emma told one close friend:
Grace Nolan.
The same volunteer coordinator who delivered blanket.
Grace immediately admitted it.
“I told Rachel.”
Emma stared.

Everything required to orchestrate backyard confrontation.
Aaron disappeared before arrest.
Then Laura revealed:
“Aaron wasn't assigned to Carter account.”
“Who put him there?”
Bellweather access request signed:
SAMUEL PIERCE.
His father.
Samuel had insisted he knew nothing.
Now lie.
But motive?
