Timeline changed everything.
Rachel received first anonymous bracelet photograph six months before Emma gave birth.
At that time “Sophie Carter” existed only as training profile? Wait drill is three days before Emma birth, so bracelet didn't exist six months before. Contradiction! Need correct: Rachel received photo six months ago relative party, Sophie maybe 3 months? Infant unspecified. Earlier Chapter 3 says six months ago and another after Emma real Sophie born. Sophie was eight months old at backyard party.
Rachel’s first anonymous photograph arrived when Sophie was roughly two months old.
So sender already knew real Sophie existed.
The photograph showed training bracelet beside newborn footprint card.
Investigators now discovered footprint card did not belong to Sophie Carter.
It belonged to:
Baby Girl Bennett.
Rachel’s stillborn daughter.
Rachel nearly collapsed.

No demand had been sent.
Aaron appeared to be constructing leverage.

Then why blanket now?
Samuel Pierce claimed Aaron had recently demanded money from him too.

That explained intended action.
He expected Eleanor to destroy bracelet.

He assumed she would remove physical evidence.
Why include temperature sensor?
To detect whether blanket remained near house? Bluetooth range limited; Aaron or accomplice nearby could monitor.
Natalie had been watching across street but did not know sensor.
Could Aaron have been nearby?
Phone location placed him within half-mile.
He wanted confirmation Eleanor destroyed evidence.
Then why summon Rachel?
To witness Eleanor panic and conclude Carter family covered up her daughter’s records.
Why summon Natalie?
To record reaction.
Aaron wanted chaos generating pressure.
But one question remained.
Eleanor claimed she threw Sophie because she believed blanket itself dangerous and wanted Richard catch baby while blanket burned.
Yet if her goal was destroy bracelet, why tell Richard to open blanket immediately afterward?
Her explanation didn't fully fit.
Emma confronted her.
“You're still lying.”
Eleanor's face changed.
“Yes.”
“About what?”
Eleanor looked at Sophie.
“I knew exactly what was inside blanket before I threw her.”

“Then why did you do it?”
