So he created redundant physical audit sets labeled after missing prototype incident.
“Crown Nineteen” became internal shorthand between Thomas and Helen.
One package contained original vendor approvals.
Second contained copies.
Not literally hidden in teeth.
Not implanted in anyone.
The dental imagery surrounding mystery was code born from Project Crown.
Emma discovered shorthand after Thomas died.
She found C19-A in archived safety deposit box.
C19-B missing.
Claire knew Crown 19 incident but not evidence-package meaning.
Anonymous sender used duplicate dental crown as theatrical delivery mechanism because they wanted Claire recognize code without writing it openly.
Why?
Someone feared mail/email surveillance.
Or wanted mystery to look stranger than it was.
Maya disliked theatrics.
“People who genuinely want evidence delivered usually make it simpler.”
So perhaps sender wanted manipulate.
C19-A records were obtained through Thomas estate.
They showed Graham Vale approved inflated invoices.
But also showed Thomas knew earlier than company disclosed.
Thomas confronted Graham privately.
Graham repaid some amounts and resigned citing health.
Board never told shareholders full reason.
Classic corporate concealment to avoid scandal.
Ethan was twenty-six then and uninvolved.
Emma later discovered settlement.
Why disappear over old accounting issue?
Because one vendor remained active.

It had inherited contracts from company linked Graham.
Emma suspected ongoing overbilling.

Not reason to vanish from child unless threats occurred.
Then Claire admitted she received threatening call before Emma disappeared.

Claire assumed prank.
She mentioned it to Emma.
Emma became pale.

Two weeks later she vanished.

Phone records old but traceable to prepaid line purchased near Northstar office.
No identity.
Maya interviewed Graham Vale.
Seventy-one, retired, ill but mentally sharp.
He admitted old billing scheme.
“I inflated consulting invoices. Thomas caught me. I repaid money and left.”
“Did you threaten Emma?”
“No.”
“Northstar?”
“I introduced them years earlier. I never owned them.”
“Who did?”
“Thomas.”
Silence.
Ethan stared.
“My father owned Northstar?”
“Through holding company.”
That meant security vendor Emma feared had secretly belonged to Thomas Bennett.
After Thomas death, ownership transferred.
To whom?
Not Ethan.
A family trust sold it.

Claire Morgan.
Claire looked stunned when confronted.
“I never bought Northstar.”
Documents said otherwise.

one dollar.
Signature:
Claire Morgan.
Claire said:
“That isn't my signature.”
Forensic review later agreed signature likely copied.
Someone had put Northstar in Claire’s name without her knowledge.
