The local police arrived twenty minutes later, summoned by an anonymous butler who had fled the scene during the destruction. Two officers stepped into the grand hall, their eyes widening as they took in the cracked wall panel, the shattered vases, and the billionaire matriarch sitting disheveled on the floor.
However, when the lead officer approached Ethan, expecting a violent suspect, Ethan did not fight or raise his voice. He simply handed the wooden cane to the officer, reached into his jacket pocket, and produced a folded piece of paper—a certified medical report from a private clinic dated three days prior.

Ethan leaned in close, his voice low enough that only the officer could hear, explaining that every camera in the grand hall had recorded Eleanor stepping on his pregnant wife's hand.
The lead officer looked at Eleanor, then back at the medical report, his expression hardening. Instead of placing Ethan in handcuffs, the officer turned toward Eleanor, asking her to step forward to clarify the allegations of assault against a pregnant woman. Eleanor’s face went crimson with humiliation as she realized the narrative had completely flipped before her guests' very eyes.
