Harrison Whitmore had supported another child.
Not a secret son.

Julia’s mother wanted no public recognition.

Improper.
Deceptive.
And another example of a man using corporate machinery to hide a family truth.
Diana Hale discovered the payments during a joint philanthropic review.
She gave evidence to Rebecca.
Charles eventually learned.
Harrison admitted paternity privately.
Why would this destroy Flynn?
Because Harrison spent Flynn’s childhood preaching bloodline.

Family purity.
Meanwhile he had a daughter he refused to acknowledge publicly.

“Where is Julia?”

Mabel understood.

Cassandra knew about Julia.

Harrison convinced her to stay silent.

“No.”

“You can stop becoming him.”
Flynn looked destroyed.
Julia continued:
“And stop blaming him for choices you made yourself.”
Flynn nodded.
Then Cassandra refused contact with Julia.
Why?
Shame.
Fear.
Maybe both.
Then Julia asked one question:
“Does Cassandra still have Dad’s red ledger?”
Flynn frowned.
“What red ledger?”
Julia remembered seeing Harrison record private family transfers in a red notebook.
Cassandra had taken it after the funeral.
Why did it matter?
Because it might show maternity foundation payments.
Also Redhaven transactions.
Cassandra denied having it.
Search during litigation discovery found nothing.
Then Selina remembered.

Cassandra claimed she did not remove it.
Forensic analysis showed the page had been removed years earlier.
By Harrison.
Then indentation on the following page revealed partial writing.
Phoebe sent it to an imaging lab.
