No hidden family relation.

Marcus had also instructed private investigator hired by Eleanor that matter was medical billing/privacy issue.

Investigator quit because hospital counsel warned him patient records protected.

Not because secret organization frightened him.

One mystery after another became smaller in scale and worse in ethics.

No kidnapping ring.

No swapped twins.

No murder.

Just professionals protecting institution until their individual decisions created something monstrous.
