Michael did not deny it.
He had already hinted his participation was worse than forged documents.

Ryan Vance ordered him to move Daniel’s SUV after Daniel was confined.
Michael refused initially.
Charles told him:
“If federal investigators see Daniel missing before books are fixed, everybody goes down—including you.”

He then helped draft fake accident notification.
No valid body identification at first.
Margaret later arranged Thomas substitution.
Michael became horrified when fake funeral plan escalated.
Why didn’t he go police?
Self-preservation.
Why did he help Daniel later?
Guilt.
Was that redemption?
Partially.

Michael told Daniel:
“I thought helping you escape would balance what I did.”
Daniel replied:
“It doesn’t.”

“Can you be grateful?”
“Yes.”
“And still want him accountable?”
“Yes.”

Charles looked toward Daniel.

Margaret’s sentence reflected active coercion, forged insurance/trust manipulation, fake-death participation, evidence interference.
